    Our barley grows happily in the sandy loam soil along the Willamette River. In this nutrient-rich soil, barley easily thrives. As it ripens, each stalk turns golden with a slightly nutty flavor, perfect for malting and distilling.
Barley is more than just an ingredient; it benefits the land around us too. Planting barley helps us improve the soil, controlling erosion and boosting valuable nutrients. It also helps us suppress weeds and pests without having to use heavy duty pesticides.
Our Hops
Our hop yard sits right on the 45th parallel. Every hop we produce benefits from the sandy loam soil and the natural water supply provided by the Willamette River.
